We will listen to a contemplation from Nomad where Anna Robinson draws on insights from a Nomad podcast - a fascinating conversation with Dr Dan McClellan (Episode 344- link attached) on biblical interpretation and misinterpretation.
We’ll take time to gently explore our relationship with the the collection of books that we've come to call the Bible—and challenge what it might mean to say it’s "God-breathed."

Starting and finishing with some breathwork, we reflect on Dan’s unpacking of the Greek word theopneustos—often mis-translated as “inspired”. We will reflect on a deeper, older meaning: not just divinely authored, but something that brings life.

We'll then spend about half an hour talking about any thoughts that have come up during the contemplation.

You don't need to have listened to the podcast with Dan to benefit from this, but it is very interesting.
