Sun 6th Sept, 11am-2pm: Rethinking Theology II, What is Spirituality?

What is spirituality? How does it relate to religion? What is its place in our lives? We use the word 'spirituality' casually, as though it has a clear and simple definition that everyone understands, but if we actually asked people, we'd probably get a kaleidoscope of answers. 

In this session, Fran will lead us as we will look at ideas around the origins of human spirituality and religion and how these connect to the present, with particular reference to Christian practice and doctrine. The group will be invited to share the place of spirituality and religion in their own lives and the practices and ideas that they find helpful.
